Gustavo Fernandes RGB

After studying at Central Saint Martins, Gustavo worked for six years at Why Not Associates. There he was given creative freedom, working with institutions such as the BBC, Royal Mail, and Tate Modern. Since 2014 he has divided his process between commissioned work and freelance bookings. “I would like to leave the piece open for interpretation. It could be summed up by this poem by Fernando Pessoa: Scatter yourself, O physicochemical system of nocturnally conscious cells, Over the nocturnal consciousness of the unconsciousness of bodies, Over the huge blanket of appearances that blankets nothing, Over the grass and weeds of proliferating beings, Over the atomic fog of things, Over the whirling walls of the dynamic void that’s the world.”
